How we began
BareStage is the oldest student-run theatre company at Cal and is the ideal place for people new and old to the art of theatre. 
 

Philosophy
BareStage provides a place for student actors, directors, writers, musicians and designers to practice and develop their craft in a supportive, pre-professional environment.
 

Our Work
Students involved in BareStage Productions onstage and backstage can participate in any or all of the four full-length shows produced each season. In addition, UnScripted, BareStage’s improvisation team, and BareTroupe, BareStage’s musical theatre group, both provide students the opportunity to perform regularly throughout the school year.
